Our mid-term break got off to a great start today with the visit of 'Mayday' a jazz band all the way from The Netherlands.

Ms. O'Neill in sixth class was so good to organise their visit. We have had a jazz band visit our school for the past number of years.

Mayday were in Cork to take part in Cork's annual jazz festival. Ms O'Neill and Swispi welcomed the band to our school. All the pupils really enjoyed their visit. Some got up and sang and danced with the band. Mrs. Mulvihill joined with the band and sang beautifully. We all ended up singing and dancing with the band. They were fantastic.

We look forward to another visit next year!
